HAPPY HALLOWEEN. Here's a quick lesson on the two double "oo" sounds in American English. We have a long/tense "oo" as in food, boo, too/two. We also have the short/relaxed "oo" sound like in book, cook, wood. Can you hear the difference?

Houston Flooding

I hope everyone is safe and dry today. The flooding yesterday was worse than Hurricane Harvey. Here are photos of my yard and the street outside my house. Thank goodness, my house was dry.
